Dormant asleep I had lain in deep slumber.

I have awoken from silent surrender.

Underwater in the depth of the green blue sea

I lay asleep for an age beneath moss and algae.

“Offerings to the Lord”

The sun, the moon, the planets and the stars.

All go around you, O Lord! And are yours.

With what do I worship you ?

When all that’s in the universe is yours.

The sunshine, the moon beams and the earth.

All move and go about with your wish.

What can I a mere speck of a mortal offer you?

Except for my life, my faith and my prayers.

I offer you my sincerity and everlasting faith.

Which will not wilt nor die like flowers in a wreath.

I thank you God, energy divine for the life you are giving.

And hope to live it up with the promise and Love put onto me.

I am, but a mere drop.

A minuscule drop in this vast ocean universe.

Where hundreds and millions of years.

Separate me from my destiny.

I am yet on my knees, on all fours.

Crawling, fumbling, searching for a foothold.

Groping my way in this vast darkness.

Rising to the currents, sometimes carried far away.

Waiting for the Light to shine.

Light cannot be blocked, shut or stopped in any way. For Light will always shine through the chinks, gaps or holes...making and paving a way of its own. For Light is light because it is meant to shine.
